Leather is a product of 100% natural origin.

Each animal's skin is unique, and its life experiences are reflected in it, such as scars or insect bites. It is a very fast procedure, but it generates hazardous waste.

It is estimated that between 80 and 90% of all the world's hides are tanned using this process.

On the other hand, when tanning involves removing the hair from the skin and turning it into a durable material, ancestral techniques are used that are based on the use of plant materials, such as bark and roots. The result is a leather that retains the traces of the animal's skin and also has greater porosity, which will improve its appearance over time.
